It was time for some updated headshots and working with her in the studio was like a dream- easy peasy!

I’m someone who never knows what to do with my hands so we just put a disco ball in them! So fun! 😍🪩🩷

I never want to be numb to hearing God’s voice. Ever.

And I often get emotional when the Lord speaks to me. I guess that’s just my tender-hearted nature.

I’m not immune to the human experience as a person in need of daily reminders to trust God. Today, He so gently reminded me of His presence and provision through Proverbs 19:21.

He’s always so gentle and kind in His “chats” to me- whether it be in correction or comfort.

I’ve had a lot of thoughts and emotions swirling around the last week or so about traveling again. I love to travel, but when I’m out of practice the anxiety starts to creep in. And if I’m not careful, I could easily let it take over.

So I want my journey of living and learning to be an encouragement and maybe a reminder to you, too, that God is good and there’s plenty of room to rest in him. 🫶🏼

Our short and sweet trip to Disney this weekend was so much fun! I didn’t take a ton of pictures, but here’s a few for the memories.

Just packed for my trip to Disney this weekend and thought it’d be fun to give you a sneak peek into my bags at some things that go with me to Disney every time.

🎒Without a doubt, I bring a backpack. I like to be hands free while I’m walking around the park. Plus, it holds my water bottle, wallet, phone, etc.

🍿I always bring my popcorn bucket. You can’t beat Disney popcorn. And you can’t go to Disney without getting some to snack on while you walk through the park, or people watch.

💊Medicines are also a must-have. Just the basics, nothing too crazy. I’m not packing the whole cabinet, lol.

🩷And lastly, the Minnie ears. I just buy them from Amazon (Pssst….I’ve linked them in my Amazon storefront… go check the link in my bio if you want some!) I love these because they’re easy to wear and they don’t give me a headache. Oh, and they’re super affordable! They may not be official Disney merch, but that doesn’t bother me.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for a few weeks and I’m loving it! It’s easy to apply, smells fresh without being overwhelming, and applies so smoothly. It does a great job moisturizing my skin while also giving me the benefits of collagen and retinol.

How I use it: I apply this after my skincare routine at night.

If my skin is especially dry, or if I want the added benefits, I’ll also add it to my morning routine before I apply makeup.

A little goes a long way!🫶🏼

A sweet moment and some thoughts from my heart. ♥️

I share bits and pieces of my life in these corners of the internet with the world every day. But what I don’t often talk about is the slight sting of singleness as a 30-something that creeps in from time to time. Valentine’s Day often reminds me 🙃. And y’all… before you start feeling sorry for me- I love my life and every part of it. I intentionally choose to not take a single day for granted… to love my people well, and to soak up every drop of joy there is to be had. I am so blessed…and I know it.🥰

And part of that blessing is being “Aunt Bae” to all these little people we’ve added to our family! They remind me time after time of the joy in childhood wonder, the blessings wrapped in a “single” season, and of course, the simplicity of love in its purest form (like these babies in a box!🥰)

January 2025

I have so many things to say about January and still the words are somehow hard to find.

January was a new beginning that felt more like we jumped straight into the deep end than taking it slow and “moseying” in, as I like to do.

But nonetheless, I’ve had a great start to 2025.
Lots of family time, baby snuggles, spending time in the kitchen, creating, laughing, and simply taking it all in.

I’m leaning into really loving my life, myself, and being open to what God gives and also what he takes. I’m walking out of January feeling extremely grateful and blessed.

This is a beautiful life.

When I find good companies with good products, I love sharing them with you. I was excited to try this new product from Active and I’m pleased with how well it cleaned these dirty shoes!

I sprayed it on, let it sit for 3-5 minutes and then washed the shoes in a normal wash cycle and then let them air dry.

They look as good as new!✨

2024: A Chapter of Growth

This year brought so many moments I’ll hold close forever. Special times with family, laughter and friendship, travel, and quiet moments of reflection reminded me of how precious life truly is. There were challenges, too, but they became opportunities to grow, to lean on the Lord, and to see God’s hand in every detail. He’s added so much to my life in 2024. More than I could imagine.

If this year taught me anything, it’s to treasure the people and moments that make life sweet. The big milestones were special, but the little, everyday joys are what made this year unforgettable.

Here’s to walking into 2025 with a heart full of gratitude, holding onto hope, and overflowing with joy. ❤️

This month has been busy and wonderful in every way!

Met Santa…

I’ve been battling a cold for about a week now. I’m so over it. I’m ready to feel better! Anybody else dealing with this, too?!?!

I ordered some groceries for a Walmart pickup so that I wouldn’t have to go inside the store and by the time I realized I forgot several things I needed, it was too late to add to the order. So, I pulled myself together enough to feel okay about going inside for a quick “gather everything I forgot” trip. 🫣

I feel rough. I look rough. I sound rough. I know it.

But I needed the groceries.🥴
